Here’s a shoutout to Matt Haskins. A very nice job with the building. Matt is a Gatorfoam customer.

Ron Fricker has emailed these pictures of his meat company using Gatorfoam. Thanks Ron and a very nice job!

Here are some shots of Bill Lowery’s model railroad.  He’s been using Gatorfoam for years.  His layout has a Gatorfoam top along with all his bases for his structures.  Beautiful work, thanks Bill!”

Here’s a model of Robertson Paper that at one time was located in Bellow’s Falls, VT.  Built by very talented George Dutka, and mounted on GATORFOAM of course.  The first shot is the model on GATORFOAM and the second is how it’s placed into his layout.  Thanks to George for the pictures.

Mark Pennell created this beautiful helix for his N scale layout with GATORFOAM.  In addition to the helix he used it for all his benchwork on his railroad empire.

This model of the Johnson Vermont Power house and Power house bridge was completed by David Griswold. The base was 1/2″ Gatorfoam Styrofoam added for the elevation. The diorama will be donated to the Johnson Historical Society the summer of 2021.

Thanks to George Dutka, a very talented modeler, for these pictures. He’s been using Gatorfoam for his model bases and general layout use for years. This photo shows how a completed structure is set into his beautiful White River Division HO scale layout after it’s completed

This little gem is a work in progress by Rob Weinstein.  A beautiful wharf scene in progress built up on 1/2″ black Gatorfoam.  The next steps are to add water of choice and details.  Keep in mind that you can use all the regular scenery techniques without fear of warping or twisting. I like to use PHENOSEAL latex adhesive caulking when attaching larger models or completed kits.  when I’m building “as I go” I’ll use AILEENS Tacky glue.  Both work equally well.  Thanks to Rob for sending his photos and if you’re working on a Gatorfoam modeling project please send us some in progress shots.

Happy Modeling!  Dave

“The Gatorfoam was perfect for  my base, and it’ll certainly be my choice for my
next layout.”    Jeff Newburg, Reading, PA

“In six years of train shows there have been no issues with the Gatorboard modules.  It is lightweight but incredibly strong.  Unlike foam core, Gatorboard doesn’t warp or curl.  It also seems impervious to water and moisture too”
Walt Muren, Four County Society of Model Engineers, Frederick, MD

“Dave, many thanks for your support & great product.  I could not have built this
layout without it.”  Howard Zane,  Columbia, MD

“We like using 1/2” thick black Gatorfoam for our projects…our dioramas are all
extremely stable as the product is designed for outdoor use and doesn’t warp…
& weighs next to nothing!”  Art Fahie,  Bar Mills Models

“I’m still recommending your Gatorfoam to all my customers.  I love the way it
works for diorama bases.”  Jeff Grove, Carolina Craftsman Kits
